Rehabilitation Therapies


Programs:
  • Case Management
    The facility-based case manager is the PNRC team member who works with the patient/family, physicians, other team members, and payers to coordinate treatment options, to enhance quality services, and to assist in the delivery of positive, cost-effective outcomes. They guide you and your family throughout the rehabilitation course from admission to follow-up services.
  • Occupational Therapy
    The overall goal of Occupational Therapy is to maximize the patient's functional independence so that their quality of life improves.
  • Physical Therapy
    The staff of physical therapists specializes in treating a variety of orthopedic, neurological and medical problems and help the patient overcome the physical disability caused by disease, injury or developmental abnormality, or amputation.
  • Recreation Therapy
    Recreation Therapy reinforces and applies the skills learned in Physical, Occupational, and Speech/Language Therapy and assists the patient in developing, maintaining, and expressing an independent social/leisure lifestyle through the use of recreative experiences and services.   • Rehabilitation Medicine
    Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians (Physiatrists) lead the rehabilitation teams. The Physiatrists evaluate patients on admission and prescribe the therapy program and identify precautions for treating therapists.
  • Rehabilitation Nursing
    The nurses at the Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center possesses the specialized knowledge and clinical skills to meet the comprehensive needs of rehabilitation patients and their families.
  • Specialty Clinics
    Specialty clinics are designed to meet specific needs in addition to the traditional outpatient programs. They are staffed by individuals who have special certifications or training in their areas of expertise. Each program is designed to meet the needs of our patient population.
  • Speech-Language Pathology
    The Speech-Language Pathology team members specialize in assessment and treatment of individuals of all ages with communication, cognitive, hearing and/or swallowing problems due to developmental delay, progressive or chronic neurological processes, traumatic brain injury, cancer, and other diagnoses.
