Patricia Neal Golf Classic seeks professional participants
Generous corporate leaders, golf enthusiasts and TPGA members will hit the links at Holston Hills Country Club in Knoxville, TN, on Monday, August 13, to support a great cause – the Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center (PNRC). The 28th annual Patricia Neal Golf Classic is presented by Regal Entertainment Group. The TPGA Professional Tournament is sponsored by Morrison Healthcare Food Services and offers a $9,000 purse.
The tournament features 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. shotgun starts. Each amateur foursome will be paired with a TPGA golf professional whose drive and score may be used to help the foursome on any hole. Amateurs may use the best drive of the group on each hole. The field is limited to 48 groups consisting of four amateurs and one professional. For the amateurs, the format will be a two-person scramble. The pro entry fee is $60. Every professional who returns a signed score card will receive a check. There will also be two “closest-to-the-pin” cash awards for professionals.
The Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center helps thousands of people rebuild their lives after traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, strokes, and other debilitating illnesses and accidents. Over the past 27 years, this tournament has raised more than $4 million to support the excellent care provided at the center, making it one of the most successful one-day charity events in the state.
Entry deadline is August 1st or until field is full. For more information, call (865)531-5210.
