  • About The Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center
Named for actress Patricia Neal, Knoxville native and stroke survivor, the rehab center is a 73-bed facility nationally recognized for its treatment of stroke, spinal injuries, and traumatic brain injuries.

Since the center’s beginning in 1978, over 25,000 inpatients have come to Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center to begin their recovery. Today, the center treats approximately 1,000 annually. In addition, 73,000 people have received treatment in our 12 outpatient clinics located throughout East Tennessee.

Called “a house for heroes,” the center has been instrumental in helping patients return to life – relearning to walk or speak, adapting their environments to new limitations, or preparing to live on their own.
